Not only is Blonde Redhead one my favorite bands, but Kazu Makino & Amedeo Pace's two bedroom apartment is one of my all-time favorite interiors. I love when a space has a strong aesthetic that flows naturally and effortlessly from room to room. An interior where each item fits perfectly within the overall space without feeling forced or stuffy. This apartment was featured in Domino magazine a few years ago, and I can remember how inspirational it was for me to see these images from their enchanting home. There is so much to love: the toile wallpaper, the amazing plate rack, the beautiful wood floors, and the striking antiques. This space continues to inspire me in so many ways, and once again confirms that Makino is too cool!
