Last weekend I had the privilege of coordinating my first Belles Reveries wedding! While the official photographs won't be available for a few weeks, I wanted to share some of my inspiration with you and a sneak peek at part of the final project!

Below are the images that influenced me the most while transforming the backyard. Check out the entire wedding inspiration gallery here

The bride is one creative lady herself, so it was great to work with someone who wanted her wedding to be beautiful, unique, and handmade! During one of our first meetings she mentioned she liked the look of coffee filter garland and the lovely string orbs below.

The ceremony took place in the backyard of the home where the bride grew up, and the vows were exchanged under a large wood swing set her father had built years before. As soon as I saw the swing set, I knew we had the perfect canvas to transform!

Here's a sneak peak at the swing set during the beautiful ceremony. I created all the flowers out of coffee filters, the hanging garland out of tea stained cupcake liners, and the bride and her bridesmaids made the string orbs. Everyone, including myself, was thrilled with the final transformation!

I had so much fun with this wedding and can't wait to share more pictures with you!

So sorry for the delay...

My life got a little crazy there. Nicholas was in a bike accident and suffered some pretty serious injuries. So I've been changing hats between Nurse Beth, Work Beth, and Belles Reveries Beth. While I haven't been blogging, I have been working on some exciting projects! More on those to come...

Besides coveting a pair of her iconic ballet flats when they first hit Neimans, I'm not typically a Tory Burch kind of girl. I'm not sure why I ended up looking at her Resort 2012 Collection, but I'm so glad I did. It's gorgeous, and quirky, and wonderful!
