I've been drooling over the new Schoolhouse Electric catalog since it came in the mail a few weeks ago.

They've recently expanded their gorgeous collection of light fixtures to also include furnishings and home accessories.
Love, love, love!

Check out the rest of the catalog here!

I think I may have finally decided on a bedroom wall color. Maybe.

After a few painting mishaps (as in I ended up hating the color once I got it on the walls) I've been hesitant to pick colors for several rooms in our house.

1. Our Bedroom
2. Spare Bedroom
3. Studio/Office
4. Upstairs Bathroom (2nd color)
5. Upstairs Hallway
6. Mudroom
7. Downstairs Bathroom (2nd color)

What a list! Did I also mention that I hate painting?

The photos below show the shade of green I'm thinking. Then I just need more neutral bedding to match our curtains, a nightstand for Nicholas, rug, possibly some wall mounted lights for next to the bed, and a wall mounted bookshelf and the bedroom will be done! Wonder how long that will take? :)

The photo above is the perfect color! I think it would look wonderful with our bed and would make our curtains really pop!

Christmas is just around the corner! Here's a sneak peek of what is on my list this year...

BOOKS

Lena Corwin is one totally awesome lady. Her wedding was gorgeous, her Brooklyn brownstone is a huge inspiration to me, she's a cool mom, and her blog is one of my absolute favorites. On top of that she is an incredible illustrator. This girl has got it going on!

2. Three Potato Four - French Cahier Notebooks.

I'm a notebook junkie.

I've been trying to hunt this book down for a long time! Yay!

ACCESSORIES
If Madewell had had these in my size today I would have totally bought them on my break.
Guess I'll have to leave it up to Santa!

I adore Clare Vivier bags.

HOME

I would eventually like to get more from this collection!

2, Subscription to Anthology Magazine

I try to pace myself and not furiously devour each issue of this magazine in one sitting. (Sometimes I do.) I like to enjoy it bit by bit, article by article, trying to stretch out how long I can enjoy the experience.
I love getting lost in the beautiful homes and inspirational artists
featured on its pages.
Now I'm sure not to miss an issue!

APPAREL

The perfect color yellow, turtlenecks, and stripes. These are a few of my favorite things.

What's on your Christmas list?

Pretty things are the best medicine when you aren't feeling well...

Breathtaking vintage rings from Erie Basin.

Great colors and shapes in the newly expanded home accessories collection from DwellStudio. Their new furniture collection is to die for!

Cozy, knitted goodness from Emmadime: Knitted.

I'm feeling better already!

Fall has officially arrived whether I like it or not. While I love the changing leaves, cider mills, and new fall clothes like all the rest, the upcoming cold weather is something I've already started to dread. I am not a cold weather girl!

Let's try to focus on the positives here:

Gorgeous leather boots from Cobra Society

The use of pinecones is now seasonally appropriate. (Although I think they are gorgeous all year round!)

New gorgeous frocks from Orla Kiely to pine over.

The return of tights!!

Pumpkins & Gourds!

What are you excited about this fall?

Yes, I know I've been absent. Life has been busy, exciting, disappointing, and did I mention busy? Looking forward to finding some calm time to get back to blogging about things and places I love!

Speaking of which, I am in love with these handmade Granliden mittens from Bergslagsgatan. I stumbled across them while scrolling through Elisabeth Dunker's inspirational blog Fine Little Day.

Dunker's home is to die for! This stylist, designer and illustrator's pattern mixing skills are spot-on. I think I may have a new home crush!

Her perfect Swedish modern/70's bedroom. I'm smitten!
