I'm not much of a "designer bag" type of girl, but I do love anything and everything made by Goyard. I can't remember the first time I saw that trademark chevron pattern, but I do know it was love at first sight. The French luggage manufacturer was founded in 1853, and is currently the oldest trunk maker in existence. Each piece is hand-painted on canvas made of cotton, linen and hemp. Now available in several colors, the traditional colors were black and red.
One day when I visit Paris (notice, I did not say "if"), I will stop by the store on Rue Saint-Honoré and treat myself to something special, even if it is just a little card holder. Good thing I've got awhile to decide what color I want and whether I want it monogramed or not!
